CULTIVATING THE IDEAL MINDSET (PART 5)
“…whatever is true, whatsoever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things (fix your minds on them)”
– Paul the Apostle.
Thoughts have presence. Thoughts are the potent force of energy. Thought energy can be transmitted from one mind to the other subconsciously. Thoughts impressed becomes verbally expressed.
The ideal mindset is vitally immersed in love. The ideal midset is an embodiment of lovely and lovable thought processes. The positive energy thrives in the love energy both cannot be separated from each other.
The individual whose mind is dominated by the ideal thought qualities thinks loving thoughts about people and builds, encourages and uplifts others with both words and actions. The individual never deliberately tears down the confidence or self-esteem of another. The person functioning in the ideal mindset believes the best of everyone and believes the best for every situation.
A grateful heart that is thankful at all times and in every situation for the blessings of life is the nourishing factor of an ideal mindset. Focusing on what you have rather than on what you don’t have is the principle to maximizing what you have and receiving more from life. Gratitude impressed is thankfulness expressed both to God and people. Complaining is the product of a negative mindset and only compounds problems.
Gratitude is the inreasing factor of life wherein life multiplies its blessings. Seizing every opportunity to appreciate people, appreciates our relationship with people. A grateful life never diminishes but rather it fertilizes the ideal thought qualities to blossom.
To ever succeed in cultivating the ideal mindset you must change your focus. Remember, whatever you focus on expands. Your focus must be on your strengths and on the ideal thought qualities. Focusing on your weaknesses and shortcomings only make you to self-sabotage and live in self-defeat. To become conscious of your weaknesses and flaws only make you live in a degrading or lower level of consciousness where you engage habitually in self-defeating behavior. However, focusing on your strengths and on these ideal thought qualities enhances your daily growth and strengthens your moral stamina while elevating your level of consciousness and confidence.
Remember, your mind is the only thing you have absolute control over and your mind controls your entire life. Therefore, use it rightly and use it wisely – maximize the use of your mind and you will maximize your life.
