THE GIFT OF BLINDNESS!
Asuquo Cobhams is a virtually impaired Nigerian, producer and songwriter. In 2005, Asuquo was signed on with Sony ATV London as a songwriter.
After working as head of audio Productions at a local label, Questionmark entertainment, he set up his own recording facility in 2006. He is the C.E.O/Head of productions of CAMP (Cobhams Auquo Music Production).
He was responsible for Asa’s highly acclaimed International album ASA and has been mentioned on many artists sleeve credits as producer and writer. He has won several awards in the music and film scene in Africa and beyond.
Cobhams talked about the advantages of being blind in an interview he had with the BBC News.Cobhams also spoke at the TEDxEuston in 2012 where he talked about the gift of blindness.
Without an iota of doubt, there is ability in every disability if potentials are discovered and maximized.
Never let your inability cripple your potent ability. Never give in to excuses and never give up on yourself. Never let your weaknesses undermine your strengths. Never complain about your situation and never explain your inadequacies but rather compound your will to succeed and expand your potential capacity to be more, do more, and have more.
