You awaken the power of initiative by affixing in your mind your ideal and affirming with your words that which you intend to bring into existence in your life.

Affirmation strengthens your subconscious beliefs required to live above the force of gravity of limitations and obstacles in your environment to create or attract how you actualize your ideal.

Rather than dwelling on “what was” we can create “what could be” through our imagination and declare it as “what is” by our affirmation. We talk about what we think about. We bring about what we talk about. Cease mentally living in the past and seize mentally creating the future you desire. The future you talk about you will attract. Our mouth was given to us to chart the course of our destinies.

Project in your mind the end from the beginning and declare with your mouth the end from the beginning, then take focused and purposeful action from the beginning, all the while keeping the end in mind.

Whatever you affirm builds up in your consciousness. What you continually affirm you possess. What you consistently affirm you will reach for. What you habitually affirm affixes in your destiny.  

THE PRACTICE OF AFFIRMATION:

  • Relax your mind and body, concentrate your thoughts, and rehearse your affirmations sincerely, meditatively, believingly, and confidently.
  • Say it, see it, feel it, and experience it. What you repeatedly affirm you resolutely confirm as your reality. Consequently, use the repetition process to re-program your mind for success, ridding yourself of the old mental script or default program and replacing them with empowering scripts that will cause you to evolve, grow, and change to become all that you were created to be.
  • Use visualization to materialize your affirmations. See it clearly, vividly, strongly, and in detail. What you mentally see you will actually seize. Physical reality is the product of mental creation.
  • Act as if what you have affirmed is already a reality – work it out; walk the talk.

Talk to your inner self and you will build up your inner life which creates your outer life. Through affirmations, we can invariably influence our habits, motives, and lifestyle to an astonishing limitless degree.

I’m in love with the words of affirmation by Orison Swett Marden,

“I am a child of God. I am made in His image and likeness. I am a partaker of all His divine qualities. Therefore, I have divine power; I have the strength and ability to do what I long to do. I am strength. I am able. I am self-confident. I am a success. I can do what I want to do and will no longer suffer this timidity to rule me. I will never again by self-depreciation and self-effacement deny my divinity.

I will never again shrink from assuming any responsibility that comes to me. I have plenty of ability to do what I long to do; to be what I long to be. I will no longer go about as if I am inferior to others. I will express my opinion and assert myself whenever necessary. You can adopt the above affirmation and vocalize it repeatedly daily even as you visualize it vividly. You can create your own affirmation and tailor-make it to meet your needs.
