MENTAL DIET: HOW TO MAKE YOUR WORDS COUNT (PART 2)
THE ECHOES OF LIFE!
A boy and his father are walking in the mountains.
Suddenly the son falls, hurts himself, and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Curious, he yells: ”Who are you?”
He receives the answer: “Who are you!”
Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”
He receives the answer: “Coward!”
He looks at his father and asks: “What’s going on?”
The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”
And then he screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”
The voice answers: “I admire you!”
Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”
The voice retorts: “You are a champion!’
The boy is surprised but does not understand.
Then the father explains: “People call this ECHO, but really, this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
Life will give you back everything you have given to it”

Life will always echo us who we really are. We get out of life what we put into it. If our words and deeds have been helpful, generous, and good; life will echo happiness, blessings, and fulfillment into our destinies. However, if our words and deeds have been unkind and bestial, life will sound the echoes of misery, despair, and failure into our destinies.
Are you prepared for life’s promotions? Then you must pass the tests of life. The tests of life are not the trials of tragedies but rather a life’s tests are the tests of character that reveal your level of maturity or immaturity as it is evident in your faith walk and love walk and these can be manifested in your words as we respond or react to people, events, and situations.
Words released into the universe bounce back into our lives to create our experience. In life, everything produces after its kind. Consequently, you can’t have a positive life and speak negatively most of the time and you can’t have a negative life and speak positively most of the time.
Taming the tongue is coming to terms with success. Taming the tongue is training yourself to speak words that count. When you make your words count, your success starts counting. You can’t gain victories in your life with vain words. Useless words will never produce a useful life. What flows out of your mouth determines the flow of your life. When you keep watching over your mouth, you keep watching over your life.
