MENTAL DIET: HOW TO WIN THE GAME OF LIFE (PART 5)
“Planning is bringing the future into the present so you can do something about it now.”
- ALAN LAKEIN.
RULE 8: BE COURAGEOUS TO TAKE INFORMED AND CALCULATED RISKS
When opportunities for growth and advancement present themselves, you either shrink in fear or shrug off fear and count the cost and also project the risk of potential loss and if it’s worth it, you take the committed decision to go for it.
Calculated risks are required for accumulated success.
Never risk everything when everything is not at stake. Never risk every time lest you lose the golden opportunities every time due to loss of dissipated energy.
Timing is very vital in taking calculated risks for accumulated success and energy must be saved for the right opportunities that will serve your life’s mission or purpose.
RULE 9: BE COST-EFFECTIVE WITH TIME
Invest in actions that will produce the greatest value or outcome with time. When we squander the time we squander life. Never waste time on the trivial aspect of life that yields little or no profit in the use of your time.
Engage in actions that will yield the greatest value in your destiny in the use of your time. Evaluate the minutes, hours, days, months, and years and utilize the time effectively to produce or yield maximum returns to your lives or destinies. Remember, the use of your life is proportionate to the use of your time.
RULE 10: BE COMMITTED TO THRIVE
In every defeat, there is a feat to be accomplished. In every adversity, there are advantages to be derived from if we could gain a higher perspective of thriving against the odds.
Trials come to try how strong you are to withstand the tests. Disappointments come to point out the derailing appointments.
Defeat opens you up to the feat that could be accomplished. Betrayal gives you a clue about what is in the human heart. Through it, all, be grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow and be committed to thriving through it all.
Capitalize on setbacks as set-ups for winning possibilities. Count your blessings, glow with a heart of gratitude and bloom despite circumstances, and grow above the circumstances of life.
Be resolved to survive. Be committed to thriving to the peak of your destiny.
Yes! You can. Yes! You will.
