ALBERT EINSTEIN: BREAKING OUT FROM THE LABEL OF “MISFIT” TO REVOLUTIONIZING MODERN SCIENCE.

Sometimes geniuses comes in unattractive packages that may be despised by the world. Sometimes geniuses may be clothed with seemingly failing experiences that makes the world to have a low estimation of the individual.

 Admist all these the seed  of greatness still lies potent within and as the genius recognizes the seed of greatness within and consistently work to tend it, it sprouts and flourishes, and value is created for the elevation of humanity.

 The genius then becomes attractive to the world and wanted because the individual becomes too relevant to be ignored. Thus, the world changes their minds and the genius becomes highly esteemed due to the individual’s indispensable contribution to life.

Let the life of Albert Einstein inspire you to live an uncommon life because you possess an uncommon breed of greatness irrespective of your present state of life.

Awaken the giant within and give expression to the authenticity of your value. Let the world become better because you lived.

THE GENIUS , THE PROBLEM…

Although Albert Einstein is regarded as a genius, he was so slow in learning to talk that his parents were alarmed.

THE PRINCIPLE:

The game of life is not won by the smartest or the fastest rather the game of life is won by those who take on their chances through their wise and right choices to maximize time in accomplishing their Purpose, it makes no difference whether they are “fast” or “slow” but consistency in the right direction makes the difference.

Albert Einstein was labeled a “misfit,” his classmates avoided him, and he earned poor grades. He failed his first college entrance exam.

THE PRINCIPLE:

People’s opinion of you does not define your identity neither does it affect your potentials. How people treat you does not diminish your potentials or affect the outcome of your life. Your ability is not limited by your experiences and failure is not a person but a mere result which is subject to change. What you make out of your life determines the outcome of your life.

THE DAYDREAMS OF A YOUNGSTER

As a youngster, Albert Einstein began to daydream about riding on a beam of light and off course those early daydreams eventually led to the theory of relativity and his most famous formula: E=mc2 (energy equals mass multiplied by the speed of light squared).

THE PRINCIPLE:

Live from the uncharted horizon of your imagination which is fully laden with possibilities. Leave your memory lane, you can only get back to the memory lane to recount the blessings you have received and be grateful to God and the vessels He used – People; only get back to memory lane to draw life lessons from your experiences to aid you in the journey ahead.

Then come back to the present and plot your way from where you are to journey to where you want to be – all the while keeping the end – the dream in view as you navigate through the present to creating the future of your dreams.

Albert Einstein refused to be sulked in self-pity by focusing on his supposedly weaknesses of earning  poor grades in school and the label his classmates “stuck” on him and also avoided him but he lived from the frontiers of his imagination  and eventually grew into a man that created value for the world by becoming a man of value rather than living out the label society placed on him.

MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME

Albert Einstein went to work on his daydreams. He studied Physics in the university. After completing university studies, he worked as an office clerk by day and worked on his own ideas at night.

THE PRINCIPLE:

To maximize your life you must maximize your time.  Far too many people complain about a lack of time to work on their dreams or ideas. However, when they leave their offices at the end of the day’s work they cleave to time wasting activities and at-times energy draining activities all the while complaining about the circumstances of their lives.

Your circumstances cannot change until you make the change by changing yourself. You  can create the changes you want by maximizing the time you’ve got.

IGNORE THE NAYSAYERS

At age twenty-six, Albert Einstein began publishing scientific papers explaining his new theories. Some ridiculed him, especially when they learned he was not a University Professor, others were curious and began to test his hypothesis. His theories were confirmed as valid, and within sixteen years, he was a scientific guru and winner of the Noble Prize for Science.

THE PRINCIPLE:

Formal education does not define your abilities neither does it determine your potentials. Never accept the rating others have of your abilities based on  formal education  or any  other external factor. Ignore the naysayers and gain the ascendancy in fulfilling your destiny.

THE PURPOSE OF FAME

Albert Einstien openly opposed World War I. As a Jew, he made use of his influence to help thousands of Jews flee Europe and to work for the establishment of a Jewish homeland.

THE PRINCIPLE:

The purpose  of fame is to have a positive  influence in the lives of others. Fame gives you a platform to do good to a greater number of people. Fame is not meant for the purpose of feeding the ego and thinking that the world revolves around you rather it is a privilege given to you to positively impact a greater number of lives which couldn’t have been possible without the fame.

Fame is the power and the opportunity to become an influence for good and to accomplish and to do good to a greater number of people in the world.

GOOD OPPORTUNITIES MAY NOT ALWAYS BE THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITIES

The first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion asked Albert Einstein to be Israel’s first president, and while Einstein felt honored, he declined saying, “I’m a Scientist not a politician.”

THE PRINCIPLE:

Never be in a hurry to embrace every good opportunity that  comes your way no matter how great they may be. Some may be derailing appointments that leads you away from fulfilling your destiny.

Know your life’s purpose, maintain your lane. Examine every good opportunity in the light of your life’s Purpose and accept only the ones that enhances or further serves in fulfilling your purpose on earth and you will maximize destiny and lead a fulfilling life.

ALBERT EINSTEIN’S REGRET

Einstein’s theories about energy and mass were used by other scientists to create nuclear power. Upon hearing that the Nazis were developing atomic weapons based on his theories, he wrote to the President of the United States to warn him.

Albert Einstein’s intention for his discoveries related to atomic power to be used  was for peaceful purposes and he later voiced regret at their use for war. He remarked after World War I!, “We have won the war, but we have not won the peace.”

THE PRIBCIPLE:

Use your abilities and gifts for only constructive purposes rather than for destructive purposes. Make it your life’s mission to build lives. Never abuse or misuse constructive ideas for destructive purposes.

ALBERT EINSTEIN KNOWN FOR HUMILITY

A ten-year-old girl once visited Einstein regularly to get help with her mathematics homework. She revealed, “People said that at No. 112 there was a very big mathematician, who is also a very good man. I asked him to help me. He was willing and explained everything very well. He said I should come whenever I find a problem too difficult.” When the mother apologized for her daughter’s intrusion, Einstein responded, “I have learned more from the conversations with the child than she has from me.”

THE PRINCIPLE:

The greatness of a man is measured by the depth of his humility after attaining heights of accomplishments in the world. And the depth of humility determines the measure of his service to humanity which in turn determines the measure of his greatness.
